NV woman's body found in Walmart parking lot

A woman who went missing from a Walmart parking lot earlier this month was identified Wednesday in a remote gravesite in Nevada.

Naomi Irion, 18, was found dead after a tip led investigators to an area east of Reno, Churchill and Lyon counties sheriffs said.

The Washoe County Medical Examiner confirmed her identity Wednesday.

In a statement, the Irion family said they wanted to express their condolences and thank all the volunteers for their efforts to find Naomi.

Troy Driver, 41, was charged with first-degree kidnapping in Irion's disappearance.

No other charges have been filed against Driver, who was being held on $750,000 bail. A request for comment from his lawyer went unanswered.
